The requirements regarding dress both within the clubhouse and on the course must be strictly observed.
On the Course
The golf professional has strict instructions to refuse entry to any member, or visitor not complying to the following:
Collarless shirts and T-shirts, vests, garments embossed with slogans or illustrations, denim jackets, jeans and trainer type footwear.
Shirts must be tucked into trousers and the practice of tucking trousers into socks is not acceptable. Baseball and other caps must be worn with the peak facing forward. Shorts must be tailored in style and worn with white sports socks or knee length stockings of any colour.
Each member guest or visitor playing a round of golf must have a golf bag and clubs.
In and Around the Clubhouse
The following items of clothing are not acceptable in the lounge, veranda or patio.
• Jeans
• Denim
• Vests or Collarless T-Shirts or Singlets
• Golf or Training Shoes
• Weatherproof Clothing
• Football, Rugby or Cricket Shirts
• Baseball Caps
You are expected to dress in a manner that is acceptable to all, and which does not in any way cause offence or upset fellow members.
As a general rule smart casual dress is expected at all times.
DINING
Social Golf
Smart Casual dress is acceptable at all times.
Team Matches
For all club team matches men are expected to wear jacket and tie, ladies are expected to change into smart clothing.
Societies
For societies playing 36 holes of golf after the first 18 holes of golf the described in the lounge veranda or patio apply. After 36 Holes of golf men are expected to wear jacket and tie ladies are expected to change into smart clothing. For societies playing 36holes of golf after the first 18 holes of golf the described in the lounge verranda or patio apply. After 18 Holes of golf men are expected to wear jacket and tie ladies are expected to change into smart clothing and functions the type of event will determine the dress standard for each function and will be posted accordingly.
